T-Systems Iberia is hiring for the Telco Hub in Madrid to advance IT and Telco integration. You will work in cross-country squads, focusing on a platform-based cloud approach and automation-driven operations to deliver high availability services.

Formación

• DNS fundamentals including DoH/DoT/DoQ and Telco contexts.
• Kubernetes experience to orchestrate CNFs.
• Ability to configure/adapt Kubernetes configurations.
• Strong IP networking knowledge and troubleshooting with tracing tools.
• Hands-on monitoring/data analytics using Prometheus/Medusa.

Responsabilidades

• Operate physical, virtualized and containerized environments; integrate a new IoT resolving platform in Kubernetes.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system malfunctions; refine automation and recovery strategies for high availability.
• Develop and document new test use cases; build scripts (Ansible, Bash, Perl, Python).
• Implement changes in test, reference and production systems to improve stability or add features.
• Develop methods/tools for data analysis and monitoring; collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Activity Description

• Implementation and operation of physical, virtualized and containerized system environments- focus on integrating a new IoT resolving Plattform in Kubernetes
• Analysis, troubleshooting and documentation of system malfunctions- Regular checks and refinement of automated processes and strategies such as failover, deployment and desaster recovery to ensure a highly available and resilient system with minimum recovery time
• Identification, documentation and structuring of new test use cases- Development and optimization of scripts (Ansible, Bash, Perl, Python)
• Implementing changes in test, reference and productive systems to enhance system stability and/or provide new features
• Development of new methods and tools for data analysis and monitoring- Cooperate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end system functionality
• Collaborate closely with the german operations team to streamline processes, enhance software, tools and system performance and apply innovative technologies and concepts

Qualifications

Must-have requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of DNS (PowerDNS, DoH/DoT/DoQ) --> preferably you have worked in a TelCo company
• Extensive know-how in working with Kubernetes to orchestrate CNFs
• Proficiency in using as well as adapting configurations for K8s is a must
• Experience with IP networks, router and LAN/WAN technologies as well as troubleshooting them with tracing tools (e.g. wireshark)
• Hands-on experience of monitoring systems and data analytics (Prometheus, Medusa, …)

Nice-to-have requirements

• Very good analytical skills combined with strong quality awareness
• Experience in classic and agile forms of cooperation

Considerations

Being oncall for round about 8 Weeks per year and rarely perform tasks outside of regular working hours
