A technology consulting firm is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide first and second-level support for user devices. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring systems, and managing user accounts. Ideal candidates will have experience in IT support, strong technical knowledge, and good communication skills. The position is based in Llanera, Spain, with an onsite work mode.

Formación

Technical Support Engineer

Work Type - Contract

Location - Llanera, Spain (Two site to visit location - Aldeanueva, Ribadumia, Spain)

Work Mode - Onsite

Key Responsibilities :
  • Provide first and second-level technical support for computers, laptops, printers, and other user devices.
  • Troubleshoot and fix hardware, software, and application problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and security tools.
  • Create and manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory or similar tools.
  • Set up and maintain printers, scanners, and mobile devices for users.
  • Support video meetings and collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
  • Keep IT equipment inventory and documentation up to date.
  • Follow company IT security and data protection policies .
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when needed.
  • Provide friendly and clear support to users, including basic IT training when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
  • Experience in IT or desktop support , working with Windows, Mac, or Linux systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge in troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic networking.
  • Good communication and customer service skills .
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team .
