Clarios, the global leader in advanced energy storage solutions, seeks a procurement specialist to support direct material purchases for MEMESA production in Madrid. You will manage inbound data, optimize transport and supplier relationships, and ensure EU regulatory compliance with OECD guidelines, collaborating with international stakeholders.

The role requires 2–3 years in industrial procurement, strong SAP and MS Office skills, and fluent Spanish and English.

• 2–3 years of experience in industrial procurement or related field.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.

• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Support Lead business unit (LBU) team and manage supplier portfolio.
• Control inbound data against production needs.
• Set appropriate logistic flows to support local procurement.
• Supervise MEMESA plant needs according to production outlook.
• Develop transport strategy and supplier selection.
• Manage & negotiate Core collection transport.
• Assist local procurement with SAP orders and IT tools.
• Ensure compliance with EU laws and OECD regulations.
• Develop KPI dashboards and monitor notification status for approved lanes.
• Optimize inbound of Cores and communicate with MEMESA and suppliers to avoid bottlenecks.

Your contribution You will support & analyze purchase of direct material (Core collection) for MEMESA production needs. Manage TFS legal and environmental requirements according to the EU laws and OECD regulations. Manage our transport resources to ensure and optimize deliveries to MEMESA Smelter.

Your workplace will be located in the Greater Madrid Metropolitan Area, Spain.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead business unit (LBU) team, looking for opportunities & daily management of our supplier portfolio.
• Control inbound data versus plant production needs.
• Set appropriate logistic flows (acid control, Bins/Bulk operations, and mavericks’ strategy, etc....) to support local procurement team.
• Supervise MEMESA plant needs according to production outlook.
• Develop Transport strategy (Cost / Suppliers selection).
• Manage & negotiate Core collection transport.
• Support local procurement team with E-Procurement system (SAP orders & stat , Konzmann, Zycus and other IT tools).
• Manage supplier accounts: Data base management, legal compliance, invoicing, etc.
• Assist local LBU business to meet all legal and environmental requirements according to the EU laws and OECD.
• Support regulations & transboundary movement of recoverable waste.
• Development and maintenance of KPI dashboard.
• Development and Monitoring of Notification status for all approved lanes.
• Optimization of Inbound of Cores and communication with MeMesa and suppliers to avoid unloading bottlenecks.
• Introduce a formal claim management process to tackle deviations on quality, acid density or compliance topics.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Min.2-3 years of experience in industrial procurement department or another industrial sector.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and experience with SAP.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment with international stakeholders.
• Fluent Spanish & English.
• Other language skills will be a plus.
