Job Description

A job opportunity as Supply Officer for Procurement has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid (Spain).

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join the Supply Management team. In your role as Supply Officer, you will:

  • Participate in the introduction of new products (NPI).
  • Verify and ensure order fulfillment.
  • Obtain and maintain order-related data in the ERP system.
  • Analyze delays and prioritize urgent items based on the needs of the assembly lines and Customer Support.
  • Lead short- and long-term operational action plans (missing parts, improvement of logistics flows, etc.).
  • Ensure daily monitoring of Supply Chain performance (receiving, workshops, internal transport, shipping) and resolve disputes.
  • Ensure interactions with suppliers (remote and/or on-site) and cross-departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage bidirectional logistics flows (quotes, returned parts, tracked disassemblies).
  • Provide a comprehensive overview of stock levels and implement action plans with suppliers to control inventory levels.
Skills
  • Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Junior level (1-3 years experience).
  • Soft skills: Problem solving skills; Analytical skills; Able to coordinate a MFT.
  • Languages: Advanced level in English.
  • Technical knowledge: Advanced Level in Excel / Gsheet; Data analysis skills.
  • Valuable / Nice to have: Knowledge of SAP - MM module.
