Barceló Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Hotel Manager or Junior Manager to oversee hotel operations across accommodation and F&B, ensuring quality and client satisfaction. You will coordinate department heads, participate in briefings, and assist in budget planning and revenue initiatives.

Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus. A Diploma in Tourism or Hotel Management is preferred, with a proven track record in its comprehensive management and customer

• Minimum 5 years experience as Assistant Hotel Manager or Junior Manager in a holiday product.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus (e.g., German, Italian).
• Academic Diploma in Tourism/Hotel Management or related field.
• Experience in hotel management, operations, and customer relations.
• Strong communication, commercial acumen, and problem-solving abilities.
• Teamwork and team development skills.

What will you do?

• Responsible for the execution of the management policy in all its aspects, assuming the functions of the Director in his/her absence.
• To organise, direct, coordinate and supervise, by delegation of the Director, all the operations of the Hotel, both in the accommodation area and in the Food and Beverage area.
• To coordinate and supervise the work of the department heads.
• To convene and/or participate in periodic briefings with the heads of department to inform, be informed or discuss any issues that may arise.
• Ensuring quality levels in accordance with the objectives set.
• Receive and attend to clients throughout their stay at the Hotel.
• Collaborate in the preparation and monitoring of the budget.
• To prepare the fortnightly forecast with the collaboration of all the departments involved.
• Participate in the marketing of the Hotel (TTOO, commercial visits, events, etc.) as well as in the aspects related to revenue management and e-commerce.
• Supervise together with the managers the different staff reports, staff ratios as well as participate in staff selection processes, performance monitoring and in general in any HR policy.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience of at least 5 years as Assistant Hotel Manager or Junior Manager in a holiday product.
• Fluent in English (fluency in other languages would be an asset: German, Italian, etc.).
• Academic qualification at Diploma level, preferably in Tourism, Hotel Management or similar.
• Experience in integral management of the Hotel, management, operations and customer relations.
• Good communication skills
