Job summary

GMV Spain is expanding its space sector team to lead navigation projects. You will oversee several subcontractors within Satellite navigation, space systems or Homeland security and Defence projects. We seek experts in project management covering systems and HW/SW engineering with at least 5 years of experience and English fluency.

The role includes leadership, coordination, and technical oversight. We offer a hybrid working model, a relocation package if needed, and ongoing career development

Qualifications

• Experts in project management covering systems and HW and/or SW engineering within space domains.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Experience on Space Ground Control or Navigation projects.
• Excellent English communication (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Programme consortia organization.
• Contractual setup and workplans definition.
• Managerial and programmatic control: schedule, risks, deliverables, compliance, payments, contractual.
• Technical control: support the engineering teams in the flow down of technical requirements and technical reviews (design, validation, etc).
• Organization and witnessing of Project reviews and technical meetings, including progress meetings, formal reviews and audits, with the subcontractors under his/her responsibility.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

Weare looking forexperts in project management covering systems and HWand/or SW engineeringwithin space or similar domains with managementand leadership skills, and at least 5 years of experience. Experience on Space Ground Control or Navigation projects and excellentcommunication oral and written inEnglish.We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in subcontractormanagement, knowledge of contractual management and additional languages beyondEnglish.
