Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Structural Test Laboratory Engineer for a fixed-term role within the Structural Test Laboratory & Systems Area (TADAT2). The role bridges structural analysis and physical validation, coordinating lab activities, planning tests, and ensuring airworthiness standards are met.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required; experience in aerospace testing, CATIA, materials science, and instrumentation is highly valued.

Formación

• Master’s degree required or equivalent in aeronautical/related engineering.
• Proven experience in structural testing within aerospace.
• Knowledge of airworthiness processes and certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee lab workload and resources, coordinating with subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery.
• Manage a multidisciplinary lab environment including office, workshop, and external stakeholders.
• Plan internal projects with detailed estimations of time, cost, and resource expenditure.
• Monitor adherence to planning targets and implement corrective actions when needed.
