Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Structural Test Engineer to join the Structural Testing Team, overseeing static, fatigue, damage tolerance, stiffness, bird impact, and calibration for in-flight load measurement.

You will act as Test Leader, plan tests, manage resources, and define test documentation, instrumentation, and tooling. The role offers a hybrid working model and opportunities in a multicultural environment.

Formación

• Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Structural Testing, Mechanical Assembly, or Engineering Test Management.
• Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, proactive leadership, strong communication skills for cross-functional alignment.

Responsabilidades

• Act as Test Leader for new programs, overseeing global test planning and KPI achievement.
• Lead the execution and compliance phase of structural tests with live monitoring.
• Define, control, and issue official test documentation including Test Plans and Test Results.
• Prepare test load programs and participate in defining instrumentation for in-flight load measurements.
• Manage tooling manufacturing and mechanical assembly with technical approvals.
• Perform structural integrity analyses and coordinate inspections for test tool integrity.
