DataDirect Networks (DDN) is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager in Madrid to build our procurement function from the ground up. You will design the source-to-pay playbook within Workday and lead SaaS portfolio optimization.

With 10+ years in procurement, you will Evangelize stakeholders, craft multi-year strategies, and negotiate complex contracts while mitigating risk and driving value across the organization.

Formación

• 10+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Exceptional communication skills—you need to tell a story with data to influence stakeholders.
• Zero-to-One mindset: built a sourcing function where none existed.
• SaaS savvy: understanding software licensing models and SaaS contracts.
• Shadow IT discovery: experience finding hidden software spend.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with IT, Finance, and Marketing to align needs with the new sourcing strategy.
• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies to save costs and improve services.
• Lead end-to-end supplier selection processes.
• Lead complex contract negotiations focusing on pricing, SLAs, and terms.
• Conduct regular business reviews with Tier 1 suppliers (SRM).
• Monitor market trends to identify supply risks and plan contingencies.
• Use spend analytics to identify maverick spend and consolidation opportunities.
• Design and implement the first formal strategic sourcing framework.
• Audit SaaS usage to consolidate spend into enterprise agreements.
• Build a proactive renewal pipeline for SaaS renewals to avoid auto-renewals.
