Job summary

IDC Brand is seeking a Purchasing/Inventory Agent to review requisitions, place orders, audit inventory, and manage vendor relationships. The role supports the Purchasing Inventory Manager by ensuring timely procurement and accurate data entry. Strong communication and problem solving are essential.

The position involves routine audits, equipment tagging, and coordinating repairs, with opportunities for professional growth within the procurement team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly and manage multiple duties.
• Experience in policy and procedure development and risk management.
• Proficiency with PC software including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review requisitions for completeness, accuracy, budget coding, and proper allocation; generate purchase orders with supporting documentation.
• Place orders with approved vendors; obtain quotes and bids; compare pricing, warranties, and delivery timelines; track orders.
• Conduct routine equipment and inventory audits; update inventory records; assign equipment tags and add to asset tracking.
• Manage repair tickets; evaluate requests; coordinate service calls and track status.
• Provide training to internal buyers on purchasing processes and P.O. status reporting.
• Maintain vehicle registration files and leasehold/project files; assist with repairs as needed.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and pursue professional growth; maintain confidentiality of information.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
