Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Strategic Project Buyer to join our Project Procurement team in Spain. You will manage project-specific procurement activities across pre- and post-order phases, aligning with engineering requirements and project objectives.

Responsibilities include leading RFQ processes for complex scopes, onboarding suppliers, negotiating terms, and monitoring supplier performance to deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• 5+ years of procurement experience for complex engineering projects in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project procurement strategies for project-specific materials and services.
• Manage end-to-end RFQ processes for complex technical scopes and integration solutions.
• Collaborate with Commodity Managers to align with category strategies and risk plans.
• Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers for project-specific needs.
• Lead and support commercial negotiations to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality.
