Job summary

The Society seeks a Development and Community Relations Manager to lead our fund development, marketing and public relations efforts from the Main Office in Sevilla. You will oversee the development and community relations team, supervise staff, and work with external stakeholders to grow support for disability initiatives.

You will design and implement strategic plans, manage grant writing, coordinate events and drive donor engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, or related field.
• Must be proficient with design and publishing programs and social media.
• Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
• Must show initiative, creativity and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development & community relations team and fund development efforts.
• Lead Board Development Committee and manage external stakeholder relationships.
• Create and execute strategic fundraising and marketing plans with senior management.
• Lead grant writing activities and ensure compliant submissions and reporting.
• Direct special events to achieve revenue goals and manage budgets.
