Job summary

SICPA is seeking a Cost Controller to join the Finance Department in Madrid. You will monitor and analyze costs across multiple organizations, prepare monthly reports, and support OPEX and CAPEX planning with strategic insights.

Ideal candidates hold a Finance or Business degree, 5–8 years in controlling, and are proficient in Excel and PowerBI. SAP/S4Hana experience is preferred; English is required and French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 5-8 years experience ideally in controlling, reporting or related sector.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerBI are a major asset.
• Experience in SAP/S4Hana ERP.
• Analytical mind-set, attention to detail.
• Proactive and forward-thinking, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
• Team Spirit & (internal-) customer oriented.
• Fast learner, works independently with ability to multi-task.
• Fluent in English; French would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and manage costs centers across several organizations.
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly financial reports to Function Heads and Finance Management.
• Act as a key finance partner during OPEX and CAPEX planning and monitoring cycles with insights.
• Prepare the Forecast and Budget processes by gathering, validating, and analyzing data.
• Review and validate purchase requisitions, supplier invoices, and investment requests for budget alignment.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to Function Heads for cost-saving opportunities.
• Contribute to system and process improvements for transparency and efficiency.
• Deliver administrative support to Head of Business Controlling.
