MET Spain is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead finance strategy, governance, and operational excellence for the Spanish market. You will report to the CEO and partner with local and international stakeholders to drive financial planning, reporting, treasury, taxation, and regulatory compliance.

The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery across budgeting, cash management, VAT, and financial statements, supporting growth and value creation in a dynamic energy market.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role within the energy sector.
• CPA, ACCA, CFA, MBA or equivalent professional qualification is highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Leading and improving the financial reporting and control framework.
• Driving the annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes with the CEO and stakeholders.
• Managing treasury activities, cash flow planning, and banking relationships with the MET Group Treasury team.
• Ensuring efficient cash management processes, including funding, dividends, and regulatory compliance.
• Overseeing customer billing and invoicing with VAT, excise duties, and other regulatory requirements.
• Leading credit management and KYC processes per Group policies and local regulations.
• Coordinating tax declarations, statutory accounts, and annual financial statements, ensuring timely tax payments.
• Supporting commercial and operational teams in securing financial guarantees for market operations.
• Ensuring payments and transactions align with MET Group policies and internal controls.
• Identifying opportunities to digitalize and streamline financial processes for growth.
• Acting as a strategic advisor to the CEO with financial insights.
