Job summary

Amazon seeks a Senior Global Category Manager for Equipment, Mobility and Infrastructure (EMI) to strategically source auxiliary equipment and services for fulfillment CAPEX. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop robust category strategies, and deliver savings while improving supply chain resilience across the category.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to interact with suppliers, drive cost of ownership improvements, and ensure alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in program or project management.
• Experience in supply chain.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish multi-year category sourcing strategies and lead cross-functional sourcing teams.
• Negotiate with suppliers and execute contracts to optimise Amazon's competitive position.
• Develop relationships with category suppliers to achieve optimal cost of ownership.
• Act as market intelligence resource and identify strategic opportunities.
• Partner with suppliers in supplier relationship management to mitigate risk and improve performance.
• Identify, achieve, and report on savings and value targets for category sourcing activities.
• Align with internal customers to understand business applications of the category.
