Job summary

Amazon is seeking a motivated Category Manager to join the Global Procurement Operations EMI team. You will own end-to-end category management for the Racking subcategory across Europe and Latin America, shaping sourcing strategies and supplier relationships to deliver best-value storage solutions.

You will report to the Global Storage Category Leader and partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, and regional teams to ensure procurement strategies align with business priorities and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, contract management, and financial analysis.
• Experience leading large, complex negotiations.
• Experience with stakeholder management across multiple levels.
• Advanced Excel and SQL skills.
• Experience in supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional category strategies for Racking across Europe and Latin America.
• Lead sourcing events, negotiate terms, and manage contracts that deliver value.
• Deliver year-over-year cost savings through negotiation, value engineering and consolidation.
• Monitor market trends, steel dynamics, and supply conditions to inform strategy.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks and ensure supplier compliance with obligations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal and Sustainability stakeholders.
• Define and report on key metrics that measure category performance and savings.
