Westinghouse Field Services Spain SLU in Madrid is seeking a Steam Generator Inspection Technician (Eddy Current) to support inspection and repair activities in nuclear power plants worldwide. You will perform Eddy Current data acquisition, operate inspection tooling, and contribute to outage execution.

The role is based in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, onsite with occasional remote work. You must be fluent in English and Spanish and willing to travel internationally.

Formación

• Higher Vocational Training (FP Superior) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial Maintenance or a related technical discipline.
• Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Eddy Current Testing (ET), NDT, or industrial inspection techniques is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Eddy Current (ET) data acquisition and operate inspection and repair tooling during outage projects.
• Prepare, test, and maintain inspection equipment at headquarters before field deployments.

• Document and report deviations, anomalies, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.

About the role:

As a Steam Generator Inspection Technician (Eddy Current), you will support inspection and repair activities in nuclear power plants worldwide. You will perform Eddy Current (ET) data acquisition, operate specialized inspection tooling, and contribute to outage execution while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. You will also assist with equipment preparation before field campaigns and support continuous improvement plans through lessons learned activities. We offer the opportunity to develop specialized technical expertise and grow into future leadership or technical specialist roles. You will report to the Field Services Manager and be located at San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, Spain. You will have international travel to support projects at customer sites worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:

• Implement steam generator inspection and maintenance activities in operational nuclear power plants worldwide.
• Perform Eddy Current (ET) data acquisition and operate inspection and repair tooling during outage projects.
• Prepare, test, and maintain inspection equipment at headquarters before field deployments.
• Ensure inspection and repair activities are completed in compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Document and report technical deviations, anomalies, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
• You will report to the Field Services Manager and be located at San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, Spain. This is an onsite position, with the occasional remote work when project activities and needs allow.

Qualifications:

• Higher Vocational Training (FP Superior) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
• We consider knowledge of Eddy Current Testing (ET), Non-Destructive Testing (Nondestructive Testing), or industrial inspection techniques an asset.
• 1+ years experience in industrial maintenance, inspection services, outage activities, or field service environments is desirable but not required.
• Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Availability for frequent international travel and assignments at nuclear power plant sites worldwide.
