SOGECLAIR is looking for a Static Stress Engineer to join our team in Sevilla. The role requires over 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry, where you will define analysis methodologies, perform static structural analysis, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Aerospace Engineering or a similar field, proficiency in tools such as MSC Nastran and CATIA V5, and be detail-oriented with strong collaborative abilities. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Formación

• More than 5 years of proven experience in static analysis in the aerospace industry.
• Experience working with Aerospace OEM/Tier/Suppliers on specific stress activities.
• Languages: English B1 minimum and Spanish fluency.

Responsabilidades

• Define analysis methodologies and validate FEM models and stress reports.

• Support design teams by assessing structural modifications.

Static Stress Engineer (m/w/d)

With more than 5 years of proven experience in the aerospace industry to join our team in Sevilla.

Candidates should be proficient in the following tasks:

• Define analysis methodologies and validate FEM models and stress reports
• Perform static structural analysis of aircraft metallic and composite structures using Finite Element Models (FEM)
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior stress engineers
• Extraction of loads, stresses, generation of spectra and mission file
• Extraction of material data, geometry details and fastener specifications from part & assembly drawings
• Support design teams by assessing structural modifications, non-conformities and engineering changes
• Creation of FEMs using geometric data from part & assembly drawings
• Preparation of stress certification dossiers

About you:

• More than 5 years of proven experience in static analysis in the aerospace industry
• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience working with Aerospace OEM / Tier / Suppliers on Specific stress activities
• Languages: English B1 minimum and Spanish fluency
