Arsys is seeking a Staff Network Engineer to lead VMware SDN strategy and design scalable private cloud networks. You will automate workflows and collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentoring, and governance, with a flexible hybrid work model across offices in Spain. English proficiency is required, Spanish/German helpful.
Formación
- 8+ years in network engineering
- Experience with VMware SDDC environments
- Strong knowledge of BGP, VXLAN, Geneve, and micro-segmentation
- Hands-on automation with Python, Terraform, Ansible, NetBox, or VMware APIs in CI/CD
- Experience linking private clouds to public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-prem networks
- Familiarity with Kubernetes CNI, Tanzu, or NSX ALB (Avi Networks)
Responsabilidades
- Design scalable private cloud networks using VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX
- Collaborate with DevOps, SysAdmins, and Product Owners to define standards
- Automate network provisioning with modern tools
- Create High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for major networking projects
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a positive team culture
- Set SOPs and participate in architecture review boards
