IONOS is seeking a VMware SDN Authority to architect and own the next-generation private cloud networking stack. You will design ultra-resilient, multi-tenant architectures powered by VMware Cloud Foundation and NSX/NSX-T, while driving automation through code.

In this role, you will lead CI/CD workflows using Terraform, Python, and Ansible, and connect our private cloud to AWS, Azure, and GCP with strong micro-segmentation.

Formación

• 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Mastery of VMware SDDC, NSX-T, and multi-tenant architectures.
• Hands-on with Terraform, Python, Ansible, or NetBox.
• English proficiency at C1; Spanish or German a bonus.

Responsabilidades

• Design ultra-resilient, multi-tenant network architectures powered by VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX/NSX-T.
• Automate CI/CD-driven workflows using Python, Terraform and Ansible.
• Bridge the private cloud into AWS, Azure, and GCP with micro-segmentation for security.
• Lead and mentor across DevOps, SysAdmin, and Security teams while elevating engineering standards.

The Mission

• Mastermind the Fabric: Design ultra-resilient, multi-tenant network architectures powered by VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX/NSX-T.
• Automate Everything: Ditch manual configs—build seamless, CI/CD-driven workflows using Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Bridge the Clouds: Hook our private cloud natively into AWS, Azure, and GCP while keeping security tight with micro-segmentation.
• Lead & Mentor: Be the go-to technical voice across DevOps, SysAdmin, and Security teams while raising the bar for the engineers around you.

Your Stack

• 8+ Years in the Trenches: Proven mastery in enterprise network engineering and VMware SDDC environments.
• Deep VMware Mastery: Battle-tested experience with VCF, NSX-T, dynamic routing (BGP, IS-IS), and overlay encapsulation (VXLAN/Geneve).
• Code-Driven Ops: Hands-on magic with Terraform, Python, Ansible, or NetBox.
• Modern Workload Ready: Bonus points if you’ve dabbled in Tanzu/Kubernetes CNI or NSX ALB (Avi Networks).
• Communication: English C1 (Fluent). Spanish or German is a fun bonus!
