DXC Spain seeks an SDN Network Engineer to join an international project for a major client. You will install, configure and maintain network infrastructure including Cisco underlays and SDN elements such as VMware NSX and other tools.

The role requires hands-on engineering experience, knowledge of Leaf & Spine topology, IPSEC, BGP/OSPF, QoS and VXLAN. Scripting skills and monitoring tool familiarity are a plus; you’ll work in a dynamic, pressure‑driven team.

Formación

• Education: System Engineering or IT degree.
• Proven hands-on network engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco underlay switches.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols: Leaf & Spine Topology, IPSEC, BGP, OSPF.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, test and maintain the network infrastructure, switches, routers, and SDN elements like VMware NSX and network management tools.
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of network and infrastructure availability.
• Monitor and test application performance; identify bottlenecks and work with Support & Engineering teams to fix them.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency.
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
• Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for resolution.
• Follow configuration and change management policies.
