Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Share Staff Software Engineer, Cloud Security to lead the GTI Threat Scoring platform from Málaga. You will mentor engineers, define the technical direction, and collaborate with security teams to embed frontline threat intelligence into cloud-native architectures.

You will architect low-latency microservices and real-time streaming, influencing cross‑functional security initiatives. This role emphasizes leadership, scale, and innovative use of AI tools in production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical strategy, roadmap, and architecture for the GTI Threat Scoring platform and verdict engine within Google Threat Intelligence.
• Mentor and grow mid-level and executive software engineers in Málaga, creating clarity, protecting team focus, and advocating high standards for code quality, design documentation, and system reliability.
• Act as a key technical anchor across Google Cloud Security, partnering closely with security engineers, threat analysts and domain experts to systematically encode frontline.
• Architect the cloud-native microservices supporting low-latency graph propagation and real-time threat intelligence streaming.
