SentinelOne is seeking a visionary Staff Product Manager to lead our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) offering into its next phase of AI-powered growth. You will drive product strategy and execution at the intersection of cutting-edge threat detection automation and scalable service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, particularly in MDR, and will drive the development of innovative solutions to address emerging threats.
What You Will Do
- AI-Powered Product Strategy and Vision: Define and own a product vision for an AI-driven MDR service that seamlessly integrates with SentinelOne\'s platform and GTM strategy. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape, translating insights into a product roadmap leveraging AI/ML to improve accuracy, relevance, and analyst efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Product Development and Execution: Lead the end-to-end product development process collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, and security research. Drive the product roadmap ensuring it aligns with customer requirements, business goals, and market opportunities. Define product requirements and specifications and work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery. Utilize Agile methodologies to manage product development cycles including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Collaborate with customers, sales, marketing, and executive leadership to gather feedback, understand market dynamics, and ensure product-market fit. Communicate product updates, milestones, and value propositions to internal teams and external stakeholders such as customers and partners. Act as a product evangelist representing the MDR service internally and externally, including speaking at industry conferences and events.
- Product Performance and Analytics: Define and track KPIs to assess the success and impact of the MDR service. Analyze market data, customer feedback, and usage metrics to continuously improve the product and identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to MDR and cybersecurity to ensure the product remains competitive and cutting-edge.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the full product lifecycle: market research, roadmap development, requirements definition, execution, and go-to-market support.
- Define and monitor KPIs tied to both internal efficiency and external customer value.
- Act as the product evangelist, influencing internally and representing SentinelOne externally with thought leadership in the MDR domain.
What You Need to Bring
- 6 to 8 years of experience as a Product Manager in cybersecurity, ideally with MDR, SIEM, XDR, or detection products.
- Experience building or scaling AI-enabled platforms, automation workflows, or MSSP-focused offerings.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and stakeholder collaboration across R&D, GTM, and partner/channel functions.
- Strong strategic communication and data storytelling capabilities.
- Comfort with ambiguity, systems thinking, and driving clarity through cross-functional influence.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in leveraging analytics and market insights to drive product decisions.
- Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams.
- This position requires up to 15% travel to customers and SentinelOne locations worldwide.
