Lever, Inc. on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer based in Spain to lead and shape our internal platform foundations.

This hands‑on leadership role focuses on improving developer experience, CI/CD, observability, security, and scalable delivery for product teams and AI coding agents. You will define standards, build reusable tooling, and drive secure software delivery across engineering, with attention to playbooks, adoption, and measurable impact using DORA

Formación

• Proven track record building and operating production‑grade platforms.
• Experience designing internal platforms with appropriate abstraction and standardization.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD, IaC, testing, and modern software delivery.
• Strong security mindset with shift‑left security and DevSecOps awareness.
• Product‑driven view of internal platforms for engineers and AI agents.
• Hands‑on with AI coding agents and engineering environments.

Responsabilidades

• Shape platform and infrastructure foundations used by product teams.
• Improve end‑to‑end development loop including local dev, CI/CD, and deployment.
• Define standards for testing, IaC, observability, and secure delivery.
• Build shared tooling, templates, and golden paths to reduce friction.
• Own secure delivery practices, including scanning and dependencies controls.
• Monitor security landscape as AI agents evolve and adapt tooling accordingly.
• Improve repos, conventions, and documentation to aid AI agents.
• Measure platform impact using DORA metrics and team feedback.
• Provide hands‑on leadership while contributing to code and pipelines.
