Qualifyze is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to shape and scale our data platform. You will partner with product and backend teams to deliver robust data architectures that empower time‑sensitive product decisions and strategy.

You will own end‑to‑end data pipelines, collaborate across cross‑functional teams, and advance best practices in data quality and observability while operating in a hybrid work model across Europe.

Formación

• Proficiency in Python for data engineering with ETL/ELT pipelines and testing.
• Advanced SQL skills with PostgreSQL, OLTP/OLAP, and execution plans.
• Strong experience with dbt for modeling, testing, and documenting datasets.
• Hands-on with Dagster (or similar orchestration tools) for assets/jobs and scheduling.
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes for data services.
• Solid understanding of dimensional data modeling and operational vs analytical schemas.

Responsabilidades

• Define and drive the technical vision for the data platform and architecture.
• Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable data solutions that support growth.
• Establish best practices around data architecture, modeling, quality, and standards.
• Lead complex technical initiatives and make architectural decisions across teams.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable data solutions.
• Mentor Data Engineers and foster knowledge sharing across the team.
• Drive continuous improvements for scalability, reliability, and efficiency of the data platform.
