Valsea is seeking a Staff-level engineer to own AI strategy for a mature, high-scale platform. You will be the senior technical voice, yet prefer hands-on collaboration on complex integrations over strategy decks. You’ll shape production reliability, data quality, and security as core responsibilities.

This role combines building with direction setting, requiring deep experience in JVM-based systems, AI features in production, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Competenze

• 5+ years of software engineering with JVM/Scala or equivalent distributed systems.
• Hands-on AI/ML features deployed at scale with real users.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and modern containers.

Mansioni

• Lead AI strategy and roadmap across product and tooling.
• Architect and deliver AI-powered capabilities in backend stack.
• Define QA automation and incident response powered by AI.
• Integrate AI tooling into SDLC pipelines and deployment gates.
• Evaluate AI infrastructure options (self-hosted vs API-based).
• Set development standards for AI features with governance.
