Schwarz Gruppe is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer in Barcelona to design, build, and operate cloud networking control planes and services. • Degree in computer science or comparable qualification.
• Expert in at least one modern programming language, ideally Go.
• Solid experience with cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, microservices).
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, API design (REST, gRPC), and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• DevOps experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and operate cloud networking control planes (Load Balancer, WAF, CDN, VPN, API Gateway).
• Design and implement scalable REST APIs for network products.
• Develop automation for provisioning, configuration, and management of network services.
• Work on architecture of distributed systems with emphasis on availability, scalability, and performance.
• Ensure code quality via reviews, unit/integration tests, and CI/CD improvements.
• Support operation of self-developed services in a DevOps setup and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Collaborate in an agile team and write maintainable, well-documented code.

You’ll shape scalable network solutions, REST APIs, and automated provisioning in a DevOps-enabled, agile environment. You contribute to distributed architectures with a focus on high availability and performance, while ensuring quality through CI/CD and thorough testing. This position offers a meaningful impact by enabling robust, scalable network products for a global retail ecosystem.
