Schwarz Gruppe is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer in Barcelona to design, build, and operate cloud networking control planes and services. You will craft scalable REST APIs, automate provisioning, and collaborate in an agile DevOps environment to deliver high-availability network products for a global retail ecosystem.

• Degree in computer science or comparable qualification.
• Expert in at least one modern programming language, ideally Go.
• Solid experience with cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, microservices).
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, API design (REST, gRPC), and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• DevOps experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and operate cloud networking control planes (Load Balancer, WAF, CDN, VPN, API Gateway).
• Design and implement scalable REST APIs for network products.
• Develop automation for provisioning, configuration, and management of network services.
• Work on architecture of distributed systems with emphasis on availability, scalability, and performance.
• Ensure code quality via reviews, unit/integration tests, and CI/CD improvements.
• Support operation of self-developed services in a DevOps setup and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Collaborate in an agile team and write maintainable, well-documented code.
