Adient is seeking a Sr Quality Engineer - Customer Liaison to join our Barcelona team. You will interface with customer JIT and Trim production, analyze on-site issues, and drive corrective actions across plants. The role demands strong automotive QA experience and the ability to communicate with OEMs/Tier 1 suppliers, with travel about 70%.

Fluency in English is required; German is advantageous. You'll apply QMS tools like VDA 6.3, 8D, and FMEA to support continuous improvement and customer

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven professional experience in quality management within the automotive industry.
• Experience in customer quality management and direct communication with OEMs and Tier 1 customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to root cause analysis.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); German is an advantage.
• High willingness to travel (approximately 70%).

• KPIs: customer satisfaction JIT, IRPPM, ICPPM, Firewall head count JIT, firewall audits at JIT.
• Inspector Gauge R&R evaluation and inspector training.

What will your responsibilities be?

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

• Experience in customer quality management and direct communication with OEMs and Tier 1 customers.

• Good knowledge of automotive quality management tools and methodologies, e.g. VDA 6.3, 8D, FMEA, Poka-Yoke, Ishikawa, 5 Why.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); German is an advantage.
