Scopely is seeking a Sr Motion Designer for our Flamed team in the Barcelona office, on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office). You will lead motion design for Monopoly GO! and support other IPs across our global portfolio.

The role demands a strong reel and expert-grade skills in After Effects, Cinema 4D, and 3D rendering to deliver high-impact creatives. Join a global game-lovers team and collaborate with art directors to push visual storytelling.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in motion design or related fields.
• Mandatory video reel demonstrating expert-level motion design.
• Proficient with After Effects, Cinema 4D, Octane Render Engine, Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.
• Excellent art direction, storytelling, and visual taste.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Animation & motion graphics: design and execute high-quality 2D and 3D animations and visual effects for UA Ads, Social Media, In-Game Cinematics, and promos.
• Visual storytelling: translate artwork, storyboards, and wireframes into engaging animations matching Monopoly GO!'s style.
• Iterative design: participate in reviews, absorb feedback, and iterate to polish animations.
• Asset optimization: maintain organized project files and optimize motion files for mobile gaming.
• Quality focus: work with attention to detail in a cross-feedback environment.

Scopely is looking for a Sr Motion Designer to join our Marketing Creative Services team, Flamed, in our Barcelona office on a hybrid basis (3 days at the office).

We are the in‑house creative agency, Flamed, an International multidisciplinary team. We build thousands of creatives every year to support all Scopely games Marketing needs worldwide. You will primarily work on MONOPOLY GO!, one of the top mobile games on the market, and may also support other IPs in our extensive portfolio as needed.

What You Will Do

• Animation & Motion Graphics: Design and execute high-quality 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects for UA Ads, Social Media, In-Game Cinematics and promotional materials.
• Visual Storytelling: Translate static artwork, storyboards, and wireframes into engaging, lively animations that enhance the player experience and match the vibrant, playful style of Monopoly GO!.
• Iterative Design: Actively participate in review sessions, absorb feedback from Art Directors and peers, and iterate rapidly to polish animations to the highest quality.
• Asset Optimization: Maintain organized project files and follow best practices for asset delivery, ensuring all motion files are optimized for a smooth mobile gaming experience.
• Quality Focus: Work with an attention-to-detail attitude in a constructive cross-feedback environment.

What You Will Need

• 5+ years of experience in motion design, animation, advertising, entertainment marketing or related fields.
• An excellent video reel (Mandatory) that demonstrates expert-level motion design and animation.
• Proficient in the standard tools of the trade: After Effects, Cinema 4D, Octane Render Engine, Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.
• Excellent art direction, storytelling, and visual taste.
• Experience with video editing, color grading, and sound design.
• A collaborative mindset and passion for creative excellence.
• Passionate of mobile games, especially Monopoly GO!
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Bonus Point

• Hands‑on experience using Unreal Engine to produce cinematic-quality renders.
• Additional knowledge of Unity and/or illustration.
• Understanding of social media, performance marketing, and user acquisition creatives.
• Proactive interest in AI‑assisted design tools and their creative applications.
