Scopely is seeking a Senior Animator for the MONOPOLY GO! team in Barcelona, Spain.

This hybrid role will involve creating hand-key and 3D animations, VFX, and UI animation work, collaborating with Tech Artists, UI designers, UX teams, and engineers to deliver industry-leading mobile game animations and memorable player experiences. You will work with the Animation Director to raise animation quality, support pipelines, provide feedback on work from internal and external artists, and help ensure

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience creating animations for games.
• Some experience with technical implementation of animations in UI and feature development in Unity.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management and work discipline.
• Online Portfolio demonstrating animation art skills and technical art skills.
• Some experience with game feature development, player experience, story, creating previz (After Effects, Photoshop, Animate).
• Experience or curiosity in using AI-supported tools responsibly to improve creative workflows, iteration, and productivity.

Responsabilidades

• Work with the Animation Director and Art Director to help set and push the animation quality bar and express storytelling through in-game animations
• Understand animator workflow and provide technical support for the efficient production and implementation of high-quality animation
• Work with engineers, animators, and technical artists to define, maintain, and improve animation tools and pipeline
• Give feedback on animation created by internal artists and external co-developers or outsourcers
• Serve as an active participant in team art discussions, critiques and reviews
• Ability to work with production to ensure timely completion of animation tasks
• Ability to work collaboratively with the narrative, design, and art team

What You Will Do

This person will create animatics, transitions, 3D animations and VFX, UI animations, character animations, and more. They will work with Tech Artists, UI artists, UX designers, and Engineers to create industry-leading mobile game animations and memorable player experiences.

What We're Looking For

• Expert hand-key animation skills and clear knowledge of animation fundamentals
• 5+ years of professional experience creating animations for games
• Some experience with technical implementation of animations in UI and feature development in Unity
• Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Excellent time management and work discipline
• Online Portfolio demonstrating animation art skills and technical art skills
• Some experience with game feature development, player experience, story, creating previz (After Effects, Photoshop, Animate)
• Experience or curiosity in using AI-supported tools responsibly to improve creative workflows, iteration, and productivity

Bonus Point

• Additional proficiency in drawing, texturing, and modeling is preferred
• Proficiency in Photoshop and After Effects preferred
• Mobile games experience
