Role Summary

The Sr. Manager Global Logistics Transformation is accountable for driving the logistics transformation within Global Logistics & Network Services (GLNS), in line with our GLNS strategic blueprint and GSC NexGen strategy.

This individual contributor role reports to the Director, Global Logistics & Network Services - Digital & Capabilities Lead and works closely with Pfizer Digital, GLNS Digital Governance, GLNS analytics, GLNS Process Excellence and external partners.

Responsibilities
  1. Project management: Lead, co‑lead or contribute to multiple “must‑not‑fail” transformation initiatives in sync with the GSC and GLNS blueprint, managing cross‑functional project teams of various sizes and complexity.
  2. Metrics governance ("Leading & Lagging"): Govern and harmonize metrics across GLNS tiers, eliminate duplication, build a performance‑driven organization, and work with analytics for deployment.
  3. Governance of AI/ML pipeline: Oversee AI (Gen AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning) adoption and value realization across GLNS, benchmark externally, and drive MVP development.
  4. Governance of system architecture: Understand and mitigate risks in the current system landscape (including SaaS vendors), pushing for convergence and harmonization.
  5. Governance of GLNS Digital & Capabilities Tier 3 Blueprint: Facilitate and govern the blueprint, tracking value realization across cost, productivity, service, working capital, compliance and sustainability.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of experience within consulting or logistics core function with a solid understanding of supply‑chain processes.
  • Program or change‑management experience in major organizational or process transformation programs.
  • Ability to work with multiple levels across geographies in projects and virtual teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Understanding of Gen AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, Python, and Cloud data platforms.
  • Master’s degree (Science, Engineering, Information Technology preferred).
  • Experience within pharmaceutical supply chain.
  • Innovation coaching or similar experience.
Travel & Work Location

Periodic international travel (approximately 10‑15 %) for project meetings, workshops, and conferences. Hybrid model – at least 2.5 days per week in a Pfizer office.

  • GLNS leadership team, GLNS team leaders, Pfizer Digital community, and other GSC colleagues.
  • External partners – digital consulting firms, 3PLs, and external pharma benchmarking firms.
