Enertis Applus+ seeks a Senior Consultant BESS to join its consultancy team in Spain. You will perform technical due diligence, review BESS agreements, monitor construction, and draft technical specifications. The role also involves observing market tech trends and supporting contract development.

The ideal candidate will have extensive BESS subsystem experience, strong report writing, and the ability to work with clients and teams both on-site and remotely.

Formación

• Experience with battery energy storage system (BESS) subsystems: battery modules, power conversion, battery unit controllers, system losses, BESS cooling, fire detection/suppression.
• Excellent technical report writing skills.
• Experience leading or participating in technical due diligence, contract review/negotiation, and battery equipment procurement.
• Experience applying IEC standards, NFPA 855, and UL9540A.
• Strong client facing and meetings management.
• Ability to witness SAT and provide site-based monitoring.
• Ability to work in a larger engineering team and autonomously.

At Enertis Applus+, we are looking for a Senior Consultant BESS to join our consultancyteam.

What will you do?

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Technical due diligence reviews.

• Review and negotiate the technical conditions of the EPC, BESS supply agreements and Long term Service agreements.

• Construction stage monitoring and inspection.

• Technical specification drafting and support with contract development.

• Monitoring of market technology developments and new battery products.

• Technical experience with the following battery energy storage system (BESS) sub-systems: Battery module and rack systems; Power conversion systems; Battery unit controllers; System losses; BESS cooling systems; and Fire detection and suppression systems.

• Excellent technical report writing skills.

• Experience leading or taking part in a technical due diligence process, contract review and negotiation, as well as in battery equipment procurement.

• Experience with the application of relevant IEC standards, NFPA 855, and UL9540A.

• Dealing effectively and professionally with external and internal clients, attending meetings etc.

• Can witness site acceptance testing and provide site-based construction monitoring.

• Can work as part of a wider engineering team and also to operate autonomously.
