Enertis Applus+ is seeking a Senior Consultant BESS to join the consultancy team. The role focuses on technical due diligence, contract review, and construction stage oversight across BESS projects.

You will review EPC and service agreements, draft technical specifications, monitor site construction, and stay updated on battery technology developments. You will work within a hybrid or remote setup depending on profile and location, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and autonomy.

Formación

• Technical due diligence experience on BESS projects.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating EPC, BESS supply and long-term service agreements.
• Construction stage monitoring and inspection expertise.
• Ability to draft technical specifications and support contract development.
• Knowledge of IEC standards, NFPA 855, and UL9540A.
• Ability to witness site acceptance tests and monitor construction on site.
• Strong report writing and client-facing communication.

About the job

At Enertis Applus+, we are looking for a Senior Consultant BESS to join our consultancy team.

What will you do?

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

• Technical due diligence reviews.
• Review and negotiate the technical conditions of the EPC, BESS supply agreements and Long term Service agreements.
• Construction stage monitoring and inspection.
• Technical specification drafting and support with contract development.
• Monitoring of market technology developments and new battery products.

• Technical experience with the following battery energy storage system (BESS) sub-systems: Battery module and rack systems; Power conversion systems; Battery unit controllers; System losses; BESS cooling systems; and Fire detection and suppression systems.
• Excellent technical report writing skills.
• Experience leading or taking part in a technical due diligence process, contract review and negotiation, as well as in battery equipment procurement.
• Experience with the application of relevant IEC standards, NFPA 855, and UL9540A.
• Dealing effectively and professionally with external and internal clients, attending meetings etc.
• Can witness site acceptance testing and provide site-based construction monitoring.
• Can work as part of a wider engineering team and also to operate autonomously.
