Job summary

Parser is seeking a seasoned Golang Backend Engineer to help build large-scale platforms and services. You will work with cross-functional teams, implement robust microservice patterns, and drive API-first development in a FinTech context.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend development experience.
• Hands-on working experience with Golang.
• Proven FinTech industry experience (digital banking, payments, fraud detection, or compliance systems).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Kafka).
• Familiarity with API creation and RESTful services; experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for a large-scale software platform and applications.
• Keep and maintain best practices and patterns in backend design and clean architecture microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship solutions.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Work with event-driven architecture (Apache Kafka) for real-time transaction processing.
• Create and manage APIs and networking configurations (Envoy Proxy RPC, RESTful/gRPC services).
• Build and support database solutions across relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Utilize CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins) and maintain automated testing/deployment pipelines.

How will you impact?

As a Golang Engineer, you will contribute to the development of different platforms and applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define new solutions. You will help build large-scale platforms, implement best practices in backend design, and leverage modern tech stack solutions to maximize efficiency.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Experience working in other programming languages.
