Job summary

ESTEVE is seeking a Process Engineer – Spray Drying to join our manufacturing organization. You will lead industrialization, scale-up, and optimization of Spray Drying processes, ensuring GMP compliance and high quality.

You will act as the technical reference, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to support DoE/QbD studies and technology transfer in a fast-paced pharmaceutical production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production of APIs or pharmaceutical intermediates.
• Proven experience in process industrialization, scale-up, technology transfer, and process validation.
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience leading production teams and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the industrialization of new Spray Drying processes from development to commercial manufacturing.
• Act as the site's technical expert for Spray Drying, ensuring scalability, robustness, reproducibility, and technology transfer.
• Define and optimize CPPs; support DoE and QbD studies where applicable.
• Provide technical oversight during manufacturing campaigns and drive CAPAs and continuous improvement.
• Act as Process Owner for Spray Drying technologies and coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution.
• Lead customer-facing technical discussions and support audits and visits.
