YoBrands in Ceuta is seeking a highly motivated Sports Trader with a data-driven mindset to join our Sports team. You will monitor odds, user activity, and promotions to drive profitability while ensuring catalog integrity.

You will analyse betting behaviours, manage risk, and collaborate with data analysts to translate insights into actions. Experience in sports betting analytics and programming/data modelling is a plus.

Formación

• Native or fluent Spanish with professional-level English.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data sets.
• Passion for sports and understanding of sports rules.
• Knowledge of sports betting markets and odds.
• Ability to combine data analysis with market knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and/or SQL knowledge.
• Work well under pressure with good communication.

We are looking for a highly motivated Sports Trader with a strong aptitude for data analysis to join our Sports team in Ceuta.

This position will be key to driving the YoSports experience, ensuring consistent growth, user monitoring, and operational excellence.

This role will be responsible for monitoring our odds, our users, and ensuring the YoSports catalog functions flawlessly to guarantee the business's profitability.

We require someone with an analytical mindset and the ability to effectively communicate results to transform them into actionable insights. The position involves responsibility and a significant impact on the business.

Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Analyse the betting behaviours of our client base, using advanced metrics and reporting tools to determine future expected value.
• Be responsible for bonus control and promotional performance, including tracking cost, impact on margin, and user behaviour linked to promotions.
• Make quantitative and qualitative risk management decisions to optimize revenues of our brand across Online sports betting verticals.
• Actively monitor and optimise promotion mechanics (free bets, free spins, campaigns, tournaments) to balance user acquisition, retention, and profitability.
• Undertake Project work to improve the efficacy of our tools, processes, and guidelines.
• Track sporting events both before and during the event, including their odds, and review prices based on the game's progress, liquidity patterns, and market behavior.
• Monitor betting patterns, identify irregular activity, and control liabilities in real-time to protect the sportsbook from excessive exposure.
• Collaborate with data analysts to test, improve, and refine reports based on statistical data and historical operating results.
• Monitor feed reliability and event integrity, escalating or resolving operational issues quickly.
• Analyse large historical datasets and market signals to identify inefficiencies, improve reaction speed, and optimize future strategies.
• Keep up-to-date with sports news and events that may impact the odds.
• Work closely with other Operations teams to ensure that all picks are accurately offered, settled and any trading-related concerns are addressed.
• Ability to interrogate data and communicate insights effectively

What’s Needed For Success – Experience & Qualifications

• Native or fluent Spanish speaker with professional-level English language skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sets
• Passion for sports and a good understanding of various sports and their rules
• Knowledge of sports betting markets and betting odds
• Ability to combine data analysis with sport intuition and market knowledge
• Advanced Excel and/or knowledge of SQL
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools
• Experience identifying trading inefficiencies and improving strategies
• Experience in a sports betting environment with analytics
• Programming/Data modelling experience
