Job summary

Medtronic plc in Iberia seeks a Spine Operations Supervisor to lead daily Spine Loaner Pool inventory, logistics, and fulfilment across Spain and Portugal. This onsite role is based in Madrid or Lisbon and partners with Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Service, and Commercial teams to ensure instrument availability and patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or distribution.
• Experience leading or supervising operational teams.
• Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, fulfilment, shipping, or distribution processes.
• Experience using operational metrics and data to support performance management.
• Proven experience in the medical devices or healthcare sector.
• Experience with SAP Warehouse Management (WM/WMS) systems.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Spine Loaner Pool operations, including cleaning, auditing, picking, packing, and management of surgical instruments and implants.
• Supervise team activities to ensure inventory availability, operational productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate the flow of products, services, and information from inventory receipt through customer fulfilment and returns processing.
• Monitor logistics, replenishment, and inventory management processes to maintain operational performance and inventory accuracy.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Quality, and commercial stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Drive process improvements focused on operational excellence and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and procedures.
• Coach and develop employee performance through goal setting, feedback, training, and reviews.
