Job summary

Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS) in Barcelona seeks a Machine Learning Engineer for speech-to-text technology to join the Speech Team within the AI Institute. You will work on deep learning model development and research, leveraging state‑of‑the‑art HPC resources to advance speech technologies.

The role requires 4+ years in machine learning, strong Python/Linux skills, and experience with deep learning frameworks and Hugging Face.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience of at least 4 years in machine learning.
• Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in deep learning frameworks and in the relevant area(s).
• Technical skills: Linux, Python, Deep learning libraries, git, HF
• Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Participation in current projects related to TTS technologies, including but not limited to research, documentation and deliverables
• Preparation and presentation of scientific articles
• Supervision junior research engineers
• Participation in internal group meetings and other scientific discussions
