Vodafone is seeking a senior professional to design secure, scalable cloud and AI data platforms across multi-cloud environments. You will translate business needs into production architectures, lead data mesh and AI solution design, and ensure governance, security, and cost discipline.

The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable GenAI initiatives within a dynamic telecom context, with emphasis on governance and ROI.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or STEM.
• Cloud certifications are preferred.
• Fluent English; Spanish is optional.
• Experience in roles similar to this one.
• Knowledge of Cloud Data Architecture for Data Warehousing is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• End-to-end design and architecture of scalable data platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience in BI pipeline design projects.
• Strong knowledge of modern data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT orchestration.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud security best practices (least privilege, encryption).
• FinOps expertise: cloud cost forecasting, rightsizing, capacity optimization.
• Lead complex cloud migrations from on-premises to cloud hubs.
• Collaborate with business users to anticipate data needs.

In this role you will design secure, scalable cloud and AI data platforms across multi-cloud environments to support Vodafone's strategic AI and data initiatives. You will translate business requirements into production-ready architectures, lead data mesh and AI solution design, and ensure governance, security, and cost discipline. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a bridge between business, engineering, and platform owners to deliver value. This position offers impact at scale, shaping data platforms and GenAI applications in a dynamic telecom environment.
