A leading technology services company is seeking a motivated Spark / Azure Databricks Developer in Málaga, Spain. The role involves developing data pipelines, optimizing SQL queries, and collaborating in Agile teams. In this role, you will:
Develop and maintain data pipelines and processing solutions using Spark or Azure Databricks.
Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for large datasets.
Collaborate on version control and development workflows using GitHub.
Perform data transformation, validation, and integration tasks following best practices.
Work with Starckbust (or similar automation/orchestration tools) to support data workflows.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the team’s processes.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
(Optional) Contribute financial or management-control insights if you have related functional experience.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or backend data development.
Strong experience with:

Ability to analyze, transform, and optimize large datasets.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
English level: B1 or higher.
Understanding of financial concepts, management control, or banking environments.
