Welocalize is seeking a native-level Spanish (Spain) speaker to join a confidential AI and consumer technology programme. This on-site role involves evaluating a pre-release AI model in Spanish and testing how it performs on a client device, such as a smartphone or smart glasses.

You will work in a private Welocalize office, with strict confidentiality, and you will document issues with steps, devices, locale, and build IDs, contributing critical language insights and ensuring quality across

Formación

• Native-level Spanish (Spain) written and spoken, with current feel for day-to-day language use — both generic and technical.
• Confidence with a smartphone and a laptop, and comfort moving between iOS and Android.
• Sharp eye for detail and fair, objective judgment when assessing quality.
• Ability to work independently, follow a detailed test script and guideline, and explain issues clearly in English.
• Previous experience in software/app testing, localization QA, or linguistic evaluation is a strong plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review pre-release AI model output in Spanish (Spain) and judge it on accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and overall quality.
• Test the Spanish (Spain) experience against the English one: confirm feature parity, complete a full user journey using non-English input, and check handling of non-Latin scripts, diacritics, right-to-left text, and mixed-language input.
• Spot display problems and localization errors — wrong date, currency, unit, or untranslated strings.
• Write up each issue clearly with steps, device, locale, build ID, and supporting evidence; re-test after fixes.
• Share language-nuance insights and usability feedback from a native-level perspective.
• Work on-site in a private Welocalize office; remote work isn’t possible for this programme.
• Support other linguistic projects as needed.
