Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Spanish Linguistic Expert to evaluate and refine LLM-generated Spanish text across translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar correction. This remote contract role pays $50/hour.

You will edit content to meet linguistic standards, annotate texts for grammatical features, and identify model errors, collaborating with AI researchers to improve LLM performance. Native Spanish fluency and remote-team experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish with strong grammar and style.
• Experience in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP data work in Spanish.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish, with excellent command over grammar, syntax, and stylistics.
• Professional experience in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP data work in Spanish.
• Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, regional variations, and context-appropriate usage.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot subtle errors or unnatural phrasing.
