Urbio Led, a leading smart street lighting company, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth across Spain. The role is field-based, hunter-focused, and requires building relationships with municipalities, public authorities, distributors, and infrastructure partners.

You will create opportunities from scratch, travel regionally, and manage the full sales cycle with support from pre-sales and delivery teams. Fluency in English and local language is required.

Formación

• 5+ years of Enterprise B2B/B2G sales experience with a proven track record of growing sales from zero and developing new markets.
• Direct experience selling to municipalities, public authorities, or through public procurement/tenders.
• Experience in street lighting, energy, Smart City, infrastructure, or electrical equipment industries.
• Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable with intensive field sales and frequent regional travel.
• Fluent English required; fluency in the local language of the assigned territory is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Develop new markets and build sales pipelines from the ground up.
• Identify and acquire new customers through cold outreach, networking, and most importantly, field sales.
• Visit municipalities, city councils, public institutions, contractors, and distributors across the assigned region.
• Travel extensively within the territory to meet prospects and develop business opportunities.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
• Identify and qualify public tenders, working closely with the technical/pre-sales team on proposals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional growth opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using the company CRM.
