Urbio Led, a leading smart street lighting company, seeks an Area Sales Manager to drive growth in Spain. This hunter role focuses on creating new business in municipalities, public authorities, and distributors across the region, with heavy field activity and an uncapped commission structure.

The role reports to the CRO and offers a base salary plus a performance-based incentive plan, company car, travel allowance, and tech gear. Fluency in English and local language is required.

Formación

• 5+ years of Enterprise B2B/B2G sales experience with a proven track record of growing sales from zero.
• Direct experience selling to municipalities, public authorities, or via public procurement/tenders.
• Experience in street lighting, energy, Smart City, infrastructure, or electrical equipment industries.
• Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Fluent English required; fluency in the local language of the assigned territory is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Develop new markets and build sales pipelines from the ground up.
• Identify and acquire new customers through cold outreach, networking, and field sales.
• Visit municipalities, city councils, public institutions, contractors, and distributors across the assigned region.
• Travel extensively within the territory to meet prospects and develop business opportunities.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
• Identify and qualify public tenders, working closely with the technical/pre-sales team on proposals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional growth opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using the company CRM.
