Starion in Madrid, Spain, is seeking a Space Weather Engineer to join our international team and contribute to the creation of a Space Weather Centre and related data services.

You will liaise with end users, develop tailored data products, and help deliver operational SWE services across stakeholders. Fluency in English and a degree in space engineering or related field are required.

Formación

• University degree in space engineering or related field.
• Experience in space weather activities including SW algorithms and data services.
• Experience running/operational services (onboarding, help desk, tickets).
• Understanding of SWE data products.
• Knowledge of SWE products (forecast / nowcast).
• Experience in SW development for scientific data.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with end users to capture requirements and produce specifications.
• Develop algorithms to tailor existing products to end users and generate data products meeting specifications.
• Work in future operations services.
