The University of Vigo in Vigo, Spain, seeks a Systems Engineer to lead and coordinate systems engineering activities for the CIC project. You will define and maintain system requirements (SRS), develop architecture (SAD), and manage interfaces (ICD) across teams.

Responsibilities include V&V planning, configuration management, risk mitigation, and ECSS-compliant technical documentation. A relevant engineering degree is required; strong coordination skills are essential.

System Engineering Development for the CIC Project

Functions to be performed:

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for executing and coordinating systems

engineering activities within the CIC project, including:

• Definition and maintenance of system requirements (SRS), ensuring traceability and verification methods.
• Development of system architecture (SAD), budgets (mass, power, etc.) and product tree.
• Preparation of the Concept of Operations (ConOps) and definition of operational modes and scenarios.
• Interface management (ICD) ensuring technical compatibility.
• Planning and monitoring of verification and validation (V&V), including testing.
• Configuration management (CMP), change and version control.
• Identification and mitigation of risks.
• Preparation of technical documentation in accordance with ECSS standards.
• Technical coordination across teams, participation in project reviews and support to product assurance and quality.

Required qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Automation Electronics Engineering, Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field

Gross monthly salary: 1.900,00 € (including the apportionments of extra payments)
