Job summary

Alén Space is seeking a Senior Space Technical Proposal Engineer to bridge technical and commercial teams, leading the preparation of complex proposals with a high technical component and managing international tenders. You will work closely with the technical department and Sales Manager.

The role requires a strong engineering background in space technology, fluency in Spanish and English, and a proven ability to build client relationships. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Software, or equivalent engineering.
• 5+ years in pre-sales, technical proposal prep, or commercial engineering, preferably in space/high-tech.
• Proven track record in developing and managing complex proposals with high technical content.
• Solid engineering background enabling deep space tech understanding.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Strong customer orientation and strategic business mindset.
• Ability to build and maintain trust-based client/partner relationships.
• Availability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex quotations and proposals with high technical content, coordinating with technical department.
• End-to-end prep and management of high-complexity international tenders and space contracts.
• Provide specialized technical and commercial pre-sales support with ongoing proposal follow-up.
• Update and manage the CRM in coordination with the Sales Manager.
• Create advanced technical-commercial content for sales and marketing.
• Interact with key industry suppliers.
• Coordinate Alén Space’s presence at international exhibitions and conferences.
• Provide general and strategic support for the commercial area.
