Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking a Production Operator to support manufacturing and assembly operations. This role performs assembly, integration, and basic testing of mechanical and/or electronic components, following work instructions and using hand tools and basic measurement tools.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow standardized procedures while contributing to continuous improvement in a regulated production environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant studies or technical training in manufacturing, electronics, mechanics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly environment; equivalent combos considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, integration, and basic testing of mechanical and/or electronic components.
• Follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and production documentation accurately.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment as required.
• Inspect components and finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Identify and report non-conformances or process deviations.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Support process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce defects.
• Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with workplace standards.
