DHV Technology in Málaga, Spain, is seeking a Composite Materials Engineer to lead material characterization, process validation, and testing for space materials.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams, apply ECSS standards, and contribute to continuous improvement and supplier qualification. A Bachelor’s in aerospace or related field and 2 years’ experience are required; a Master’s is desirable.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, aeronautical, mechanical, chemical, or materials engineering or similar.
• Master’s degree in aerospace engineering is desirable.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Good command of English (B2) and Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop material characterization programs for composite materials.
• Define and execute process validation campaigns for composite manufacturing.
• Prepare test plans, procedures, and reports for material testing and validation.
• Coordinate testing with internal and external laboratories.
• Design and validate test fixtures and tooling for material testing.
• Manage qualification and acceptance testing for composites and components.
• Analyze results and provide technical conclusions and recommendations.
• Develop databases of material and process properties from experiments.
• Support qualification and approval of materials and suppliers.
• Lead continuous improvement for special processes and composite manufacturing.
• Update technical standards and specifications from test results.
• Provide technical support to Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues and non-conformities.
